I think of them as "output" people. They only really care about the output. AI "Art"? "if it looks the same, it doesn't matter". Because the actual process of how and why something is made does not matter to them, only the final product.

A lot of AI maximalists fundamentally miss why people do things. It’s not merely about accomplishing tasks but having meaningful experiences, which is undermined when a computer is generating and consuming the experience and then just informing or consulting us.

Possibly my least fav AI "enthusiast" is the speculative fiction writer or futurist who has created a brand of riding the next wave and who reflexively engages with AI so they can look like they're hip to the cool, so to speak.
