Bottom line is that I had a damn good time with this game and did not at all regret getting it at launch, and that's an experience so rare these days I genuinely cherish it. I can see myself replaying Belmont's Curse multiple times, it's just a great experience all-around. Game good.

It's not exactly revolutionary, there's way more progressive & inventive Metroidvanias out there. But it does keep the spirit of Castlevania intact, which was a concern for many after the demo (including me, even though I'm not a Castlevania fan by any means).

All I have to say to any of these people anymore is: leave me alone. Leave my friends alone. I simply cannot make it more clear than that. The sheer amount of spurned incel energy from these people that has been hanging over all of us has been utterly exhausting and it stops now. And that's that.

Cleaning house a bit lately and while I have to admit it's been a weight off my shoulders to finally show the door to various harassers and stalkers that have hung around like a bad smell, I don't like the energy it's brought to everyone else's feed. Hopefully we can start putting it behind us.
