The very last task I had at BioWare before I left to pursue a new opportunity was to paint this pose of Solas embracing the Inquisitor (I didn't paint this entire image, it was just the figures). Even at the time it felt poignant that this would be my last contribution to Dragon Age.
Show PostIndie games are literally the only things that make gaming worth it these days. It's the only space where game devs get to actually tell compelling stories.
Show PostI was at BioWare over 12 years. It's where I got started writing games. I met and worked alongside wonderful people. Kind, talented, passionate. I learned a lot. I helped create some amazing stories that I'm glad made it out into the world. The people and the stories are what I cherish most.

Show PostMass Effect changed my brain chemistry. It was one of those Important Games that really made me feel like I was somewhere else. Bioware was a garden that grew thousands of game developers and storytellers from its passionate fanbase. We are diminished, yet again.
