This is lazy doomerism, but it's also just wrong. There's no way a milquetoast corporate Democrat gets the presidential nomination in 2028. If anything, someone like Gavin Newsom would be the punching bag that more aggressive and/or leftist candidates use to make their case.

I don't think this can end in any other way than Elon Musk being convicted and sent to prison. You cannot let one man have this much wealth and power in a democratic society while crippling Ukraine and murdering millions. It fundamentally breaks the social contract.
