A hooked tag from the 9th century for fastening a purse or clothing. The Anglo-Saxon tag was discovered by a metal detectorist in Chippenham, and is now part of the collections at Ely Museum. 📸 My own. #FindsFriday #AngloSaxon #ElyMuseum
Show PostFound eyes only whilst metal detecting in Mid Suffolk. An almost complete Neolithic leaf-shaped flint arrow head with all over bifacial working. It has shallow S and reversed S edge profiles. 4000BC - 2200BC Discovered in 2002
