Some types of games are a hobby and others are definitely not. Calling enjoyment of art a hobby is a bit belittling. Playing these types of art games are more of a duty to growing and maturing. Making myself read Cryptonomicon does not feel like a hobby. Disco Elysium or Elden Ring, not a hobby.

Why are people suddenly talking about that one Elden Ring boss again?

⚫️ Offline! ⚫️ Had a good time today! Made good progress on Hades II, did some Fortnite with some best friends, and made a bit of progress on Persona 5 Royal! Thank you very much to @/SinnaMinnBear and @/Twisted_Error_ for the raids! 🙏🏻🖤 I raided out to the lovely @mazakeendemonia.bsky.social! 🖤

Is kind of wild since even elden ring wants you to try other weapons and setup for specific bosses, but as long as resets are limited it feels like a risk, leading to people just never experimenting in an rpg.
