By the time I was outside, I felt like I'd keel over, but I couldn't stop, no matter how much my calves burned. My body felt like it was melting, my lungs weren't taking in enough air and my knees were failing to propel me anymore, until I tripped. Everything went black. I thought I had died.

In what felt like the blink of an eye, everyone was gone- mere smears on the ornate walls of the chapel we were in. I gripped my hammer like I was going to swing, but I couldn't do anything, I'd just end up like them, so I dropped it and ran. +
