Maar het is wel in maatschappelijk opzicht “rendabel”. Raar dat publieke voorzieningen langs de bedrijfseconomische meetlat worden gelegd. Nederland is geen bv.

Volgens mij de A4 ook niet rendabel. En de zeeburgertunnel ook al niet. Basis infrastructuur van een land wordt indirect rendabel, namelijk door een goede en gezonde economie te onderhouden en bevorderen. Daar valt OV volledig onder.
