Damn it, we lost Ben. This is a real loss for us here. Ben kicked a lot of ass in his time at The Athletic and I'm gonna miss working with him. But I guess I'm happy for you personally, Ben. I'm sure you'll crush it wherever you end up next.

Ben is a one-of-a-kind writer and reporter. I've enjoyed reading his women's hoops coverage so, so much in recent years, though hope that he'll eventually achieve his true dream of writing a Talk of the Town story for the New Yorker. Congrats on everything coming next, friend.

Ben is great and I'm excited to see what the next chapter of his journey is... But, man, this news bummed me out.

Ben has done *so much* of the best WBB coverage out there over the last few years.
