If I were still teaching, that's what I would do. 100% in-class exams, or maybe 90-95% with 5-10% at-home quizzes or homework that's entirely open-resource and just for practice.

If your review article could have been written by an LLM, it is not a good review article. An LLM can summarize a (large) body of literature, and produce a written document that is well organized and clear. A good review article goes beyond summary and offers a view from somewhere with an opinion.
