Deep down, I’m kind of just insanely loyal to Catholicism and the ultimate company man about it. Because truly I don’t get the point of, for example, podcasting about how synodality is stupid. Calling the Church to task on moral evil is one thing… whining about its experiments over time is another.

I have bought a grad student a book partly to get them to cheer up. Books are basically the only things I know how to give as gifts to people. Are they interested in other things? That seems impossible. Everyone loves reading. They love it the most in the whole world.
