In today's #hydrology duh moment, as beavers hydrate floodplains & impound water, they help mitigate drought. I still blame C.S. Lewis for the false narrative that dams are "starter homes" for beavers. 🙄 HOWEVER, I appreciate any positive press because we still have a LOOONG way to go. 🦫🦊
