It’s depressing to see schools use AI to create flyers, banners, & t-shirts. When I was in high school the faculty would come to the art department to have students create these things. I learned so many skills that have followed me my entire professional life. That’s what I thought school was for.

It reminds me of indie music in the 90s. Hear a Modest Mouse single in a car commercial and an entire subculture nearly ripped itself and the band apart for "selling out." All because making any meaningful amount of money from your music is... a bad thing...? "Fandoms" are awful sometimes.
