The decision to disclose to my students that I am multiply neurodivergent with invisible disabilities was one I struggled with all semester. Ultimately, I did decide to share with them. This new research from Curnow et al. (2025) captures the dilemma perfectly. www.liebertpub.com/doi/full/10....

I’m finishing up facilitating an online graduate course on Inclusive Classroom Practices (an introduction to critical studies in education). The in-service teachers in the course have grown in their synthesis skills, and their action plans to address an inequity are amazing in scope and variety.

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) turns 50 today. I fear it could be the last year the law is intact. It was never fully funded by any administration, nor is it a perfect solution for inclusion. But its existence has been a vital path to education access. We must protect it.
