I woke up this morning because of an auditory hallucination where I thought I heard someone pounding on my front door. Sometimes this happens where I'll hear a loud dog bark. Does this happen to anyone else?

The Wife just texted "The Fam" chat group to inform us that she stopped traffic on a busy road in order to rush out to help a turtle cross that road. This is not the first time she's pulled this. It's an old habit. Old enough that I long ago used it in a script draft: #ScriptSky

Late to the party, finally saw "Avatar: Fire And Ash". Fuzzy exposition, inconsistent worldbuilding rules. Like "Evil Dead 2", it's a remake of the previous movie that invalidates you having to watch the previous one again, but it's also a LOT better than the second. Mostly liked it. #11 for 2025.
