I can accept that I deserve judgement. Absolutely. I struggle with an emphasis on God’s punishment for others, that I sometimes sense in church.
Show Post“When your son asks for bread, would you give him a stone..?” I love this. Of course, we are kind to our children. And God’s kindness must be perfect, where ours is but human. Why do I always expect God’s wrath, instead of kindness?
Show PostInteresting. The same word, seems to be used in 1 Timothy 3:2. ( I DON’T know Greek, just looked it up because that maybe adds a bit of nuance to a verse we hear a lot)
