Very good data/analysis, as always. I like Musical Times and favour her over Sun Goddess for the 1000G on the basis that Appleby can be relied on to have her ready. Not sure that can be said of APO’B based on recent history (Lake Victoria, Precise). And Sun Goddess’s busy 2yo campaign is a concern.

now reading Maya Jasanoff's THE DAWN WATCH: JOSEPH CONRAD IN A GLOBAL WORLD (2017), which (a) is a handy, jargon-free survey of post-1850s world politics and economics, (b) brings Konrad/Conrad to life as a man, (c) makes me want to re-re-read all the books again.

Turftrax have published another going map taken 30 mins after the first one, it's now more in line with your times. The abbaye course is showing as GdFm.

It looks like the 8mm watering on Friday allowed them to kick the top off. Turftrax had it faster 8.2 yesterday at 7.20am but slower today 7.3 at 6.55am, although there's been no rain or water gone on. Surely it can be only be good or on the slightly faster side of good today.
