I think she IS a liar - they're obviously trying to sell a rebrand to Fielder, and there's a lot of dodginess around separating income and assets for obvious reasons - but I also think she's basically nuts with a loose grip on reality and he's a domineering narcissist type.

Fielder lays it out so clearly in the beginning though “the things you are saying are objectively untrue” everything after is a masterclass is obfuscation. 11/10

Another thing is that, even at Google, we were explicitly taught to be “strategically ignorant” and *not* know certain things for legal reasons, and for this she is masterful!

Whether they realize it or not, Liz and Billy have a visceral understanding of "If I behave this way / if I speak this way good things happen" even if they lack the curiosity or introspection or courage to figure out *why* that is. To me, that is not an excuse but in fact makes them more guilty.
