I wanted to explain this as many people see ancient expressions of reverence to nature as "primitive" or superstitious, but to me is it more logical, humble, realistic, enlightened, and balanced for living each day.

When we worship and show gratitude to these forces of nature, due to the acknowledgment of the importance of the workings and how it sustains us, it also is acknowledging our place in this grand whole, and recognizing our own divinity within it too. Its not only logical but also more harmonious

That being said, humanity in and of itself is nature too, and thus is also divine in being within and of it, despite other forces in nature being beyond us as a species. The logic of reverence to divinity of nature, is understanding our divinity as well being of nature. Therefore,

And again, even if one thinks of nature as just an object to use for their own benefit.. they should remember the fact they are alive, that they can think, that they can enjoy media or travel, that they can survive.. all of it is from nature's workings

It is logical to do this because what we are showing reverence towards truly deserves this reverence as ourselves and nothing around us would not exist without these forces: all of our belongings, our homes, our devices, - everything and anything comes at the root of nature
