Sorry, side bar from the rest of the rant, the transport 2/3rds of us use is always couched as being prohibitively expensive, or "gold plated" or "only for weirdos". Stop it. Roads are eye-wateringly expensive to build, maintain and operate. The best way to save money - Stop. Prioritising. Cars.
