Many call themselves "critical" or a skeptic. But, they are not. A skeptic could challenge ideas or concepts that have weak or no evidence. This largely results from absence of knowledge. When the "skeptic" is requested to substantiate their claim, they fail or provide misinterpreted data. 1/2
