While I may still have trouble seeing it in myself, I seem to have reached a point where I can pass in public. I stand and am proud to be trans because when I was younger there weren’t folks out there being allowed to be publicly trans. It was considered a shameful thing to hide. It shouldn’t be.

I know that there is safety in the closet and not everyone can be comfortable being publicly out. I know I have privilege in that respect. I try to use it to make sure others will be able to be themselves safely.
