The issue I have with 3's gameplay is that they're too scared of making things unbalanced, i'm going a faith build and everything feels neutered and shit compared to just getting a good sword and hitting r1 over and over. But you can still sort of make things work
Show PostI don't hate 1 but its a cool piece of art that is very ambitious but doesnt really stick the landing a lot of the time whereas 3's engine just feels so good to play with but half the game is trying to remind you how cool 1 was
Show Postbeen playing dark souls seamless co-op with my friend, 2 wasnt out yet when we started this journey so we did 1 and now we're partway through 3. its insane how polar opposite these games are. I respect 1 a fucking lot but do not want to play it. 3 is fanservice kingdom but its super fun
