One of the things that fascinates me with cases like this is the fact the cat has identified, presumably, a tongue and eyes and head - it knows which part of the snake to take to the food. Those are pretty impressive abstractions to recognize on a toy, for any animal.

we need furry art collectives. the expectation that artists must individually shoulder their own promotion, visibility, growth, image, and survival is exhausting—especially when it means artists have less time/energy to devote to their own work and not just commissions. art is labor. organize.

It's very important to reassure people that you are not going to react badly to boundaries. rejection sucks yeah. but being punished for having boundaries is worse. being coerced is worse. it gets exhausting seeing people act like being rejected is the worst possible thing. its not even close
