Unfortunately this is so. Leaders are selected who will do the bidding of wealthy western nations/elites. Leaders in the past who have done otherwise or even attempted to, were murdered.

Thanks, I'll have a look at him. I lived for a year under Lee Kwan Yew in Singapore. There is a lot I don't like about the country but corruption is minimal and efficiency is maximal. I also lived in Brazil with Lula da Silva who did great things for the poor.
