.. "emissions primarily from the United States" .. would that be due to still being hooked on oil with ONLY 6.5% of all 297.5 million cars in being EVs & approx 44,000 daily flights using high-CO2-emitting kerosene-based fuels in 2026 .. would that be the case y'all?

Something that goes unreported here, in part because it's difficult to study, is how distracted driving interacts with the rise in nighttime crashes. In the daylight, you can*kind of* get away with driving using your peripheral vision. At night you're going to miss a pedestrian.
