the momentary catharsis i get from dropping a 1 star google review over ai-generated posters and menus is unfortunately less potent than the sadness that my local street basically has 2 out of 20 restaurants that dont use that shit

You're completely right—python was the wrong tool for that job. Awk is the standard general-purpose programming language.
