Being called smart can put a target on your back in a lot of authoritarian countries.... Guys like him would be the first to disappear... I fear that Hegseth and co have purified the military enough so that there will be no resistance when they take over the streets...

If this is accurate, Elon lied about not having control over Starshield, and he lied about the administration making the decision. More importantly, why is a private citizen even *able* to make decisions that could hinder US military operations?
