Thanks, but I have an alternative proposal: If you want to say thank you in a material way, how about making a donation to @skypeascientist.bsky.social in honour of our conversation? "Pay it forward" so to speak, enabling school students to talk to scientists.

I keep forgetting that I have my donation to @skypeascientist.bsky.social set to auto renew, the notification email catches me by surprise every time lol

@skypeascientist.bsky.social does great work bringing scientists to classrooms and I’m happy to support them. These calendars are a super fun way to help fund the program! Get one today!

I absolutely love that this exists! I talked with my 1st grader today, and he wants to see if we can get his class/teacher to sign up and participate. I was wondering if @skypeascientist.bsky.social has an info page my kiddo could print and bring to school? Maybe I'll print the pinned post

Had my first Skype a Scientist of the year with a troop and was made an honorary Girl Scout. May be the highest honor I’ve received as an academic. @skypeascientist.bsky.social
