I understand the concerns people have about Platner’s past but he is such an aggressive economic populist, and so outspoken against wars, it’s really difficult to see how he would end up taking positions even close to those two. Also, Fetterman had a stroke that (arguably) changed his personality.
Show PostYep, I agree. Maybe this makes me a terrible person but I cut him some slack given that I'm not sure how I would have been as a person after doing multiple combat tours in my early 20's. More relevant, though, I believe I know how he will vote, which is nearly all that matters right now.
