In other news, the west end recording of Hadestown at the cinema was brilliant. Watching Andre de shields as Hermes play the obviously familiar audience was a masterclass, as was how much they adored Patrick Page as Hades. (The reactions to his gravel voice were feral.)

Like, I'm so used to the feeling that I can easily get to the nearest loo or bin. One time I was hovering by a bin at Birmingham New Street and the station bloke understandably asked if I was okay. 'Hangover. I'll be throwing up in a minute, have green smoothie for after.' 'That's fine. Water?'
