Bingo. Many minimally educated people in parts of the oil and gas industry had their jobs automated since 2014. It wasn’t AI. Companies found efficiency to remain competitive. Those jobs are never coming back. Trudeau had a plan to re-train them, but the term just transition was already poisoned.
