If anyone is going down to Sker Point this weekend, please look out for Golden Plover, which are regularly seen down there, and submit a count, via BirdTrack if possible. Diolch! 🙏 #BirdingWales

Pink-footed Geese leaving the #Mersey at dawn; 16000 roosting on the river overnight before heading out into Lancashire and Cheshire to feed. One of the best birding experiences...in my humble opinion! @mbblerc.bsky.social @webs-gsmp.bsky.social #UKBIRDING

Perfect conditions to survey the lower #Conwy estuary. Several Grey Plovers, two Kingfishers, Bar-tailed Godwit and Guillemot were unusual here, as was a Sandwich Tern for October. Good counts of Eider (10), Sanderlings (99), Ringed Plovers (61) and Little Egret (14). #BirdingWales
