I was just coming here to post something very similar. It starts to sing in the castle, but it really feels like the direction and feel or it changed multiple times during development!

belmont's curse is so fascinating because i'm about to be ten hours in and i still couldn't fully articulate my feelings about it if you asked me to. so many pieces of it lock together perfectly and feel incredible, and then foundational elements like the slide dodge or the parry feel WAY off imo.
