Story-driven games are definitely safer... for now. At some point I imagine AI could be capable of writing its own story, one that people might not even clock as AI. People are having a harder time identifying AI with each passing day. Still, this is a huge hit to any non-story game, which sucks.

Hate that this is where we're at. I wonder if games will even be able to do demos in the future, maybe even releasing trailers will be too risky. Some of the only ways to get an indie project out there are at risk now. AAA can still function, but AI will devastate indie games. #gamedev #indiedev
