even though there are other factors at play here (im on leave from work and have little to no responsibilities in recovery), i can already feel a significant improvement in my mental health post surgery. gender affirming care is truly life saving. it must be protected and fought for at all costs

tw: death/loss tomorrow marks one year since i lost my mom to cancer. every day is harder without her, and 365 days later it still hasn't gotten easier. i think of things i want to say to her every single day. grief is truly a forever process. i miss you mom. i hope it's sunny wherever you are🩷
