We take those transactions as established norms because we’re involved in a culture of exploitation. But god forbid we discuss the rights and needs of people that seem to disgust whole sections of “civilised” voting society. Then you’ll hear nothing but, “oh c’mon, do it for us!”

I don’t even want to phrase anything in terms of what it means to support each other because having good internalised values means doing what’s right and good because you know it’s right and good. Transactional thinking is truly poison. Society forces us to accept unfair transactions daily.
