I think your point is well made, but the struggle I see is that many lack the devops expertise to understand how even deployment pipelines work. They don't understand the item pairing and auto binding. Or they miss setting a deployment rule and now their stuff points to the wrong source. 1/2

Putting a GUI on it doesn't alleviate the need to understand what's happening underneath. To your point, I don't think that means everyone should jump into fabric-cicd. But I think people need to differentiate between being comfortable with the GUI vs really understanding the process.
