Systemic hopelessness leads to days like today in Paris. Leaders will demonize these kids instead of fighting to give them what they need to feel included, supported, hopeful, and to have viable futures. France has been failing many kids for many years. I hope we can do better for them tomorrow.
Show PostI saw some kids loot a store from my apartment in #Paris. Never seen that happen in person before. They broke the window, pulled it out, and less than a handful of kids ran off with things. Don't forget that insurance exists to make things whole. The state should protect people, not capital.
