Not to mention, there was that period of time where a lot of companies were rereleasing games with ray tracing added in ways that just fucked with the atmosphere and intended lighting of everything and made things not just run worse, but look worse as well
Show PostI know a lot of people like ray tracing and it can be a really cool feature but it does feel like the performance impact caused by ray tracing is almost always substantially more noticeable to the average player than the graphical improvements brought on by ray tracing
