My first Whooper Swan of the season. Frieston heath, nr. Caythorpe. Drinking and calling like crazy were classic signs it had just arrived. #lincsbirding

Can anyone help with reporting this gull. I inadvertently captured a shot of it's leg ring. It's either IX or IK 248. Over Swallow, Lincs. Cheers. @lincsbirding.bsky.social @lincswildlife.bsky.social @saloplarus.bsky.social #lincsbirding

I'd agree with J, and maybe a 7 in the middle? And it will be Norwegian, yes, so send the photos to them and they'll sort it. But it's a Common Gull, not a BHG

Thanks Nick, will do.
