imo he could have been more vague and he did not need to mention “whoever the president is”. and he should not be honored bc trump is a nazi/racist/homophobe

i’ve seen people be sooo mad at this but i would have said the exact same. he’s not gonna go off about trump when he’s being interview is he? like that’s just gonna cause attention he doesn’t want and no doubt taylor will be included in it. sometimes being professional is the way to go.

You haven't been rude, sorry if I'm coming off aggressive. It's just annoying all around to me. He has a huge platform, at the very least he could have said "No comment" in a way that made his stance clear. Instead he seemed...excited. Now is not the time to be PR/PC when asked re: Trump.

I think he answered how he was told by teams PR. The owner is an open Trump supporter, Mahomes wife is an open Trump supporter. It's time to take stands when you have a platform. And to recognize you're judged by the company you keep.

Well, he probably thinks it is the best country in the world, regardless of who's President, and it's okay that he holds this opinion. He's allowed to be patriotic.
