Ultimately, two things can be true at once: the actions of Ukraine should not be regarded as above criticism, and that Russia has no right to invade Ukraine. It can be difficult reckoning with all of these realities stated above, but it must be done, lest we lose ourselves to the powers that be.

Fighting for the *state* is a breach of means-and-ends unity, which therefore results in an erosion of prefigurative praxis. As a general rule, we need to keep our actions consistent with our stated values, which unfortunately doesn't seem to be happening here.

I feel like groups such as Solidarity Collectives, the Resistance Committee, etc., should have operated as autonomous fighting forces, rather than in lockstep with an official standing army. After all, the goal should be to fight to protect the Ukrainian *people* as opposed to the *state*.
