The visuals are also gorgeous and i love that despite how kinda cutesy it looks, the actual events occurring in the story have been pretty dark and bleak. tons of people are dying or under threat of death everywhere u go, my own fweakin mom wanted to kill me at the start D:

the soundtrack has been a ton of fun to listen to, and i love the variety of places i’ve already been so far this early on.. i do hope at some point the game opens up a bit more but i assume it probably will and i just have to be patient, i feel like a lot of these older jrpgs open up at some point

trials of mana is so fweakin good.. made some good progress today, beat two bosses and went to like 3 different cities! The game feels reaaaally big even if the path forward has been pretty linear so far, they did a great job of making the world feel huge and lived in regardless! Im lovin it so far
