A great 1st day of a week on St Mary's with @pterodroma.bsky.social & Will S, with 4 Grey Phal', Merlin, several Co.Dolphin pods, & a huge Sunfish from the Scillonian, followed by point blank views of Wilson's Snipe on arrival at Lower Moors, Issy Shrike, YBW, & multiple bobbing Jack Snipe #Scilly

Sabine’s Gull, Long-tailed Skua, 2 Pomarine Skua and 68 Sooty Shearwater the seawatch highlights. On the outer head 3780 Redwing, 15 Mealy Redpoll, Jack Snipe, Yellow-browed Warbler and Short-eared Owl with another at RSPB Bempton. Full details here flamboroughbirdobs.org.uk/sightings/17...

Migweek update Sunday events Vismigging will be taking place at Bridlington links golf course car park 7.30am-9.30am The ringing demonstrations at South Landing and RSPB Bempton are going ahead 8am-12pm The walk for those booked on it will go ahead from the lighthouse at 10am

Portland Day 6 - A ripping day of migration saw birds arriving pre-sunrise and didn't really let up until the mid afternoon. More Woodlarks, constant Chiffchaffs, Blackcaps, Meadow Pipits and Pigeons. Redwings trickling in, with some oddities like Dartford Warbler and some forgettable Geese!
