i think part of it is that voters are now having to think about actual, open, obvious corruption. it’s not the usual “they’re all corrupt and all the same” business, this cabinet has been staggeringly open about how they’re stealing everything not nailed down

if the CBC treated Jeffries like the huge liability he is we wouldn't be having this convo and the fact that we are says a lot about how ingrained and resistant to actual change and political power they are. they serve at the hands of capital, not Black people, and that's all they care about.
