For dommes, in particular, we do not have a large runway of pop culture and (and often frankly, traditional gender roles) to let us explore things the way subs do. With a lifestyle partner the answer to "how do I please you, as a sub" very well may be that they didn't assume that was possible.

And you cannot retreat into "but if you were a real dominant if wouldn't feel like work!". You need to actually figure out your share, and what your side would look like to give the dominant feelings, sensations and aesthetics they want. And you also need to understand this will be hard mode.
