To those of you who are surprised the Trump administration would threaten a Pope: A significant percentage of Trump's evangelical supporters don't consider Catholics (AKA "Mary Worshipers") to even be Christians. When evangelicals call themselves "True Christians," they mean they aren't Catholics.
