We finally have some results from Alberta. With 38% of polls reporting, it's 76.6% for the Remain side, and 23.4% for the Pro-Separation side.

Gas stoves should go just for the asthma impact alone, of course. You know much a lifetime of asthma meds costs? Getting rid of them would pay for itself a million times over, plus help fight climate change, plus we could sell the gas overseas instead, make some money to solve our other problems...

I would say the opposite, we should mandate full electrification, not even allowing new gas hookups, but otherwise abandon the step code. The priority is electrification, not efficiency.

Alberta residents: you still have time to go to the polls. Dress warm in case you do have to wait, but there was zero line whatsoever when I went earlier. I thought maybe I was in the wrong place. Please, vote like your country depends on it.
