I'm good with the idea. As an adult trying to find a game group to play or run with is a flat out bitch. I envy those that are able to have a consistent group. A paid GM allows a person to actually play the game instead of wishing they could. If folks have a problem with a paid GM don't use one

I've been paid for running games at a board games club. It wasn't lucrative, but it was decent beer money, and I earned it. I'd pay for a startplaying game, too. There's labour in GMing, and if I can play £20 for 3 hours of gaming fun of an evening, that's still a screaming bargain.
